ELECTRIC CAR Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

Abstract RU 2142887 C1

FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: in proposed electric car current generator is made in form of atomic electric element in hermetically sealed evacuated housing of which screens are installed for entrapping electron flux and for accumulating electric charge. Housing accommodates also plate made of depleted uranium composite for emitting β and γ rays fitted in middle screen body widthwise, and belt conveyors arranged between screens and covered by layer of ρ32 phosphorus isotope for generating β rays onto screens under action of radioactive radiation. Current generator supplies DC traction motor connected with transmission. Electric car is characterized by practically unlimited run without charging and it contributes to solving the problem of utilization of wastes from nuclear power stations. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 cl, 1 dwg
