FIELD: space equipment, in particular, launch vehicles for injection of spacecraft to the near-earth orbit. SUBSTANCE: a four-stage space rocket is created on the basis of the stages of disassembled three- stage solid-propellant combat rockets (on expiration of their guaranteed service life). The first module of the space rocket has three sustainer stages of the first combat rocket, and the second module - one sustainer stage of the second combat rocket. The space rocket is furnished with a development (final) stage and a newly developed connecting module. Connected to the latter is the head unit from the spacecraft under the cone. At disassembly of combat rockets, for assembly and launching of space rocket from a spacecraft use is made of (modified) transport-launching packs of combat rockets. EFFECT: enhanced technical and economical efficiency, confirmed by successful launchings of the four-stage launch vehicle "Start 1". 31 cl, 11 dwg
