FIELD: rocket engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for launching payloads (PN) into near-earth orbits using launch vehicles, including converted from multistage ballistic rockets (BR). The method includes launching the payload as part of the space warhead, which is installed on a ballistic rocket and equipped with a propulsion system for orientation and stabilization of low thrust of repeated activation. A ballistic rocket trajectory is implemented with a ballistic pause after the separation of the ballistic rocket stages, during which the specified remote control is turned on to ensure the oriented position of the ballistic rocket and maintain a constant overload for trouble-free activation of the sustainer propulsion system of the next stage of the ballistic missile.
EFFECT: expanding the range of launching orbits of the payload by implementing a ballistic pause of a given duration.
