METHOD FOR INVESTIGATING LOCAL REGIONS OF ELEMENTS Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: metrology; investigating elements which are a threat to human beings and vehicles. SUBSTANCE: method involves using flying vehicle for delivering equipment to local region, acquiring information about progress of events by means of mentioned equipment, conveying information to analytical control center, its processing and analysis. Novelty is that reference data characterizing the elements are a priori compiled and stored in center, information about initial stage of element of interest and coordinates of its region is acquired prior to investigations by satellite equipment of stationary global network, pre-acquired information is transmitted from satellites to center, data on initial phase of elements are compared with reference data, type of effect is identified and required equipment is selected; the latter is delivered according to data on coordinates of region conveyed from satellites. EFFECT: improved efficiency of investigations due to fast identification of event and delivery of equipment required for investigations. 15 cl, 3 dwg
