FIELD: microbiological methods. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for intraspecific identification of corinebacteria of diphtheria. Biomass of culture being examined is dried with acetone and intracellular soluble proteins are isolated with citrate-phosphate buffer (pH 7.4), all treatment being carried out for 18-20 hr. Liquid phase is separated by centrifugation and subjected to PAAG electrophoresis. Cultures are typed from spectra of intracellular soluble proteins. EFFECT: increased accuracy of intraspecific identification.
