FIELD: manufacture of polishing abrasive tools. SUBSTANCE: material is formed by applying layer of cementing matter onto substrate, contacting substrate with rigid abrasive particles and removing all particles non-kept by means of cementing matter. Remaining particles are embraced by sinterable or meltable matter and they are temporarily hold in place. Substrate may include shaped cementing matter or cementing matter is uniformly distributed onto substrate and covered by template. It provides sizing of particles in predetermined zones in order to make desirable model. At keeping particles onto substrate it is possible to use physical action for providing identical orientation of particles. Then it is possible to use powder or substrate is applied onto preliminarily prepared form. Ready abrasive material is made after successive heat treatment or plastic working.
