FIELD: medicine; may be used in diagnosis and treatment of men and animals. SUBSTANCE: particles contain poorly dissolving crystalline therapeutic or diagnostic agent. Adsorbed on the agent is tyloxapol in the amount of 0.1-90% by weight. Average sizes of particles are less than 400 nm. To produce particles, poorly dissolving agent is dispersed in liquid dispersion medium. The agent is ground in the presence of grinding medium to reduce it to sizes smaller than 400 nm. Particles of agent come in contact with tyloxapol during or after grinding to obtain particles with average size less than 400 nm with tyloxapol adsorbed on their surface in the amount of 0.1-90 wt.%. Production of particles may be effected in the presence of modifier of particle surface. Particles are not agglomerated when preparing from them of ready medicinal or diagnostic agents. Small size of particles rises their rate of entering the blood flow and subsequently efficiency of use of medicinal and diagnostic agents contained in these articles.
