FIELD: transport engineering; seat suspensions. SUBSTANCE: damper has lower base with vertical posts connected with vibrating member, and upper base on which seat is mounted. Tie-rods inclined relative to horizontal plane of damper are used as members providing arrangement of center of seat roll in preset arbitrary area of space relative to operator body and making it possible to damper of small height. Tie-rods are hinge-coupled by upper ends with vertical posts lower than seat center of mass, lower ends of tie-rods are hinge-coupled with upper base and extensions of longitudinal axes of inclined tie-rods intersect in space forming one or two roll centers. Horizontal displacements of vibrating member are conveyed to lower base and vertical posts of damper, and forces in inclined tie-rods turn upper base relative to center or axis of roll. Simultaneously arm h of force Fw of seat weight and operator weight relative to center or axis of roll appears and corresponding stabilizing moment Mst is formed which returns upper base in initial position.
