DEVICE TO IMPROVE SMOOTHNESS OF RUNNING OF ARTICULATED VEHICLE Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: transport engineering; articulated crawler and wheeled vehicles.

SUBSTANCE: proposed device contains interlink-mounted vertical folding hydraulic cylinder, hydraulic pump whose pressure main line communicates through filtering element and safety valve with hydraulic distributor which, in its turn, is connected through hydraulic restrictors with inter lock device and is coupled through hydraulic main lines with piston and rod spaces of vertical folding hydraulic cylinder. Device is furnished with vehicle bodies displacement pickups which are connected by electric circuit with controller. Control signals from controller get to adjustable hydraulic restrictors with hydraulic cylinder interlock device and to vertical folding control hydraulic distributor.

EFFECT: improved smoothness of running owing to reduction of amplitude of longitudinal angular vibrations of links of articulated vehicle.
