TRACK-LAYING MACHINE Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: railway construction machinery and equipment. SUBSTANCE: track-laying machine is intended for laying links of railway track. Machine has prime mover 1, frame 2, telescopic boom 3, rope-and-pulley system 9, and load-gripping members 10, 11 which are connected with rope-and-pulley system. One end of boom 3 is connected with frame of machine by means of turntable 4. Mounted on boom 3 by means of turning posts 15 are flexible links 16 which are connected with hydraulic cylinders 17, 18 for their tensioning through sensor hydraulic cylinders 13, 14. Secured on frame is hydraulic cylinder 19 for relieving of turntable 4. Corresponding spaces of all aforesaid hydraulic cylinders are interconnected to each other so as to prevent influence of bending moments on boom sections and also to prevent creation of asymmetric load on turntable. Aforesaid embodiment of track-laying machine allows for enhancing reliability of machine and increasing load-lifting capacity of its boom. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 cl, 2 dwg
