TRACK-LAYING MACHINE Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: railway transport; track laying, maintenance and repair. SUBSTANCE: track-laying machine has prime mover 1 with pneumatic wheels, telescopic boom 11 with rail grips. Boom is installed through posts 9, 10 turnable by drive in vertical plane on platform 8 turnable in horizontal plane by drive. One end of frame 2 is connected with prime mover. Pneumatic wheels 3 and track bogies 4 are installed on other end of frame 2. Track bogies are 4 are installed on two tie-rods 5 spaced along frame and turnable in vertical plane by drive 6 for engagement with pneumatic wheels 4 for lifting the wheels and bringing them behind rear end face part of frame. Post 10 of boom 11, rear in operating position, is adjustable in length. EFFECT: improved mobility of track-laying machine, prevention of destruction of formation. 2 cl, 2 dwg
