FIELD: oil producing industry; applicable in development of oil pool with multihorizon operation objects. SUBSTANCE: method includes more accurate evaluation of filtering and storage capacity features of formations and interlayers of reservoirs at the late stage of development; construction of maps of aerial extent of low drainable and nondrainable more accurate determination of depths of their occurrence, coordinates of formation crossings and boundaries of their extension, determination of conditions of combined operation of formations different in permeability; grouping of formations and separation into self-contained objects; designation of sections for activation of their development; evaluation of section storage capacities. Development is carried out with use of horizontal or multihole wells. Sidetracking is effected from preliminarily drilled wells. EFFECT: increased oil recovery from pool.
