FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: gear includes straight by-pass tube anchored in wall of main pipe-line at angle with respect to horizontal axial plane. Upper end of tube is located outside of pipe-line and is fitted with plug. Tubular rod with hermetically sealed low end in which transmitter of heat flowmeter is positioned is installed inside by-pass tube along its axis. Upper end of rod is anchored in plug. By-pass tube has hole to supply medium from main pipe-line and plane of its lower edge is placed at angle of 90-180 deg with reference to horizontal axial plane. EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurement of flow rate thanks to averaging of characteristics of flow of medium through section of pipe-line. 1 dwg
