FIELD: radioactive liquid storage. SUBSTANCE: liquids formed as result of regeneration of irradiated nuclear fuel and stored in tanks are checked for condition of radioactive nitric acid solutions containing organic compounds by continuously measuring oxidizing and reducing potential of solution so as to prevent emergency situation by changing this potential before commencement of gas release; to this end, special measures specified for keeping radioactive nitric acid solutions are taken.
