METHOD AND DEVICE FOR GALVANOPUNCTURE Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, particularly, reflexotherapy. SUBSTANCE: acupuncture points are exposed to symmetrical pulses of different polarity. Average value of unbalance is determined in number of nonpathological acupuncture points. Medicinal effect is rendered on acupuncture points corresponding to pathological state. Simultaneously their state is evaluated. Their indications are brought to revealed unbalance value. Device designed for this method realization has exposure pulse generator with negative feedback and current regulator, time-setting capacitor, meter, active and passive electrodes. Potentiometer and two diodes are introduced into device as elements of negative feedback acting from output of adaptive generator of exposure pulses on its input. Potentiometer slider is connected to output of exposure pulse generator. The first and second diodes are connected to two other leads of potentiometer in parallel and in opposition. Other leads of diodes are connected to input of exposure pulse generator. Unbalance indication unit which input is connected to output of exposure pulse generator is used as a meter.
