FIELD: municipal and industrial heat supply systems. SUBSTANCE: system includes at least one heat source, pipe lines of heat-supply system fitted with temperature and pressure sensors located at inlet and outlet of pumping unit of heat source, static power converters or current and voltage sensors fitted in electric line supplying the electric motors of pumping units. System is provided with data transmission subsystem combining the outputs of all sensors; it is connected with information center provided with computer with bank of data on pumping unit and electric motor characteristics for calculating the present and total magnitudes of flow rates for each pumping unit heat- supply system as a whole. Calculations are made by means of formulae determining the flow coefficients for each pumping unit. EFFECT: facilitated process of measurement and recording of flow rates of heat- transfer agent and heat. 5 dwg
