FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: pump inlet and outlet pressure values are measured with due regard for nominal pressure. Then electric power consumed by pump drive electric motor is measured, and actual value of power acting on pump shaft is determined with account of actual value of efficiency for this power value. Value of flow rate coefficient for current moment is calculated. Actual volumetric flow rate is determined, and density of delivered liquid is calculated by using revealed dependences from efficiency, values of head, pressure, pump shaft power, and flow rate coefficient for centrifugal pump. Mass flow rate is determined on basis of obtained data by multiplying the obtained value of liquid volumetric flow rate by liquid density.
