FIELD: manufacture of plates for different types of heat exchangers and other heat engineering constructions with increased area of heat exchanging surfaces. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of making breakthroughs before punching grooves near said grooves, punching holes in grooves simultaneously with bending up plate in zones of breakthroughs, orienting breakthrough lines at each end of them in range +-15 deg from line normal relative to tangent line near boundary of adjacent groove towards which breakthrough is oriented. EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities at making plates of plate-tube heat exchanger. 2 cl, 4 dwg
