FIELD: cutting and plastic working of materials, boring cylinders with finish expansion and shot blasting of them. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of working surface by means of automatically controlled apparatus having set of tools for working part surface at one pass. In order to work surfaces of cylinder blocks, cutters are mounted in tool members and strengthening balls are mounted in strengthening members of apparatus. Thin layer of metal is removed by means of cutters; finish strengthening of bored surface is provided by means of strengthening balls and then with the aid of formed shot-torch flow of balls fed through ducts of apparatus.
