FIELD: controlling angular motion of moving objects such as space vehicles. SUBSTANCE: method and device implementing it provide application of control actions in response to increase in angle of desired precision of orientation or to increase in angular velocity when angle is smaller than that of desired precision of orientation. Independent circuits for determining moments of application of control actions and assignment of their duration ensure their separate variation in each circuit, such as operating thresholds, pulse length, damping coefficients, without changing transient characteristics in adjacent circuit. In addition, when effect of elastic properties of controlled entity cannot be neglected, proposed solution provides for limiting application time of control action in case angle exceeds desired dead zone. EFFECT: improved control characteristics. 2 cl, 3 dwg
