APPARATUS FOR STAMPING PARTS Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: equipment for stamping parts by embossing, possibly in motor vehicle industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes quick-action gripping members in the form of rotary levers mounted on axles and arranged on base of housing. Said levers are fixed in closed state by means of screws turned-on into rotary axles. Stamp holder is in the form of casing with lengthwise rectangular cross section spikes fixed against self-releasing with the aid of rod forced from upwards to stamps by means of leaf springs and arranged in trapezoidal grooves of stamps. Percussion mechanism is in the form of single-action power cylinder with spring-type returning. Pusher is secured to rod of cylinder and it is in the form of piston having sludge-scraping ring oriented according to its lateral flats and having area acting upon stamps. Step motion drive of percussion mechanism is in the form of driving shaft having on its surface helical groove for supporting ball placed also in opening of lug of power cylinder housing. EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities, namely possibility of use of mobile variant of apparatus. 2 cl, 4 dwg
