FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed current collector slipper has current collecting members with contact cover plates secured on spring members whose ends are fitted in slots of slipper strips with clearance in vertical and horizontal. Slipper is provided additionally with two fixing rods whose ends are rigidly secured on opposite sides of frame. They are installed with clearance in lower part of O-shaped holes located on ends of current collecting members and furnished with shock absorbing stops secured on fixing rods at both sides of current collecting members. Distance from each shock absorbing stop to current collecting member is equal to free travel of current collecting member in vertical. Spring members are made of round section wire and are rigidly secured on side walls of current collecting members. EFFECT: reduced damage of train current collectors and contact system at high riding speeds. 4 dwg
