FIELD: transport engineering; electrified transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed vehicle current collector has pan installed on movable frames connected with elastic lifting member. Movable frames are secured on shafts connected with levers of pneumatic cylinder through rods by means of swivel joints. Current collector is furnished with mechanical position pickups of swivel joints whose output is connected with pressure relay connected with pneumatic cylinder.
EFFECT: provision of reliable current collecting at higher running speeds of trains owing to reduced number of failures of current collectors and reduced service expenses caused by delay of trains on line.
