UNIT FOR DRILLING OF ADDITIONAL WELLS WITH USE OF LONG PIPES Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: remedial work on oil and gas wells; applicable in lowering and lifting of long steel pipes wound on drum. SUBSTANCE: feed mechanism is connected with turnable and turnable drive which is secured to movable frame moving in guide frame. Guide frame changes position with respect to drilling site with the help of hydraulic cylinder. Guide frame is secured to drilling site by hinges. Upper part of drilling site changes its height and angle of inclination by means of hydraulic props. Drilling site is rigidly secured to vehicle and rests on ground with the help of screw jacks. After centering of feed mechanism over well mouth, long pipe is fed and joined with process equipment at its outlet from feed mechanism. Equipment is lowered to preset depth and operation of process equipment is ensured by supply of process fluid. EFFECT: provision of drilling of additional wellbores using long pipes and performance of other operations in well remedial work. 3 dwg
