FIELD: examination of rocks-collectors by method of nuclear magnetic resonance. SUBSTANCE: specimen of rock is saturated with water, initial time of spin-spin relaxation of void water is measured under normal atmospheric pressure, specimen of rock is loaded to value of rock pressure, pressure is reduced to value of atmospheric one in single step. Current time of spin-spin relaxation of void water is periodically measured after pressure drop till constancy of this value is achieved, then initial size of pores of specimen is determined by specified values of initial and current time of spin-spin relaxation of void water prior to its loading and as well as current sizes of pores of specimen after unloading of rock pressure. Character of their change is used to judge about deformation characteristics of rocks. EFFECT: improved authenticity of determination of deformation characteristics of rocks in dynamics by means of method of nuclear magnetic resonance. 3 cl, 2 dwg, 3 tbl
