FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining positions and movements of two neighboring vertebrae having maximum projection deformity on X- ray pictures in two projections, determining superior vertebra position relative to the inferior one in each individually taken plane in space on X-ray pictures. Auxiliary horizontal and vertical lines are drawn between vertebral body arches projections and their articulation processes. Angular and linear movements of the superior vertebra relative to the inferior one are compared for being available in frontal and sagittal plane. Their differences being detected, development anomaly is considered to be available. Their coincidence is considered to prove reliability of the received data describing vertebra position asymmetry in static state in the corresponding direction related to lateral, anterior or posterior intervertebral disk hernia. EFFECT: high accuracy in diagnosing static and dynamic disorders in three planes. 33 dwg
