FIELD: medicine, in particular, neurology and manual therapy. SUBSTANCE: method includes decompression of occipital condyles, decompression of occipitomastoid sutures by external rotation with simultaneous lateral traction of temporal bones from occipital bone beginning from the first day after trauma. Decompression of temporoparietal sutures is performed by traction of angles of lower jaw in caudal direction. Decompression of frontonasal and coronal sutures is performed by traction of lateral angles of frontal bone in ventral and then in ventro-caudal directions. Decompression of sphenobasillar synchondrosis is performed by traction of wings of nasal bone in ventral direction. Correction of torsion and lateroflection of sphenobasillar synchondrosis is performed by rotation of nasal and occipital bones round torsion axes and lateroflection up to state of prestress and keeping in this state up to removal of limitation. Beginning from the 3rd-5th day after trauma occurrence, medial compression of lateral angles of squamous portion of occipital bone and rotation of temporal bones with gradual increase of frequency and amplitude of rotary motions are performed. EFFECT: higher efficiency of pretreatment in acute period of trauma.
