Insert is in the form of cone sleeve with total area of its pores no less than area of outlet cross section of nozzle. Outer diameter of upper portion of sleeve is equal to diameter of burner nozzle. Lower portion of sleeve is in the form of surface supporting collet chuck of electrode holder. Gas supply is combined with electric current lead. EFFECT: possibility of welding with use of high electric current values due to enhanced heat removal or increased operational life of burner with previous values of electric current. 1 dwg
