FIELD: catalysts for petrochemical processes. SUBSTANCE: in a method consisting in molding aluminum and titanium compound mixture, drying, and calcination, distinguishing feature is that aluminum hydroxide is precipitated from sodium aluminate by nitric acid and nitric acid-soluble titanium salt at nitric acid-to- titanium molar ratio 1:(0.0001-0.006), pH 7.5-8.9, and temperature 50 to 100 C, after which precipitate is aged, mixed with titanium-free aluminum hydroxide at weight ratio 1:(0-1.25), washed, filtered off, peptized, dried, and calcined.
