SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method, intermittent operation of wiper blades and washer are set by control lever basing on memorized internal between two last switchings-on. Larger operating period of blades is set by short-time shifting of control lever in position corresponding to expectation mode. At the expiration of preset expectation time, forming of wiper blade operation period is carried out anew by above-indicated two switching-on operations. First of switching-on operations, after expiration of expectation time, consists of one or several full vibratory motions whose number is limited by shifting wiper blades in expectation mode. Windshield wiper control system has wiper control and washer control push-buttons and push-buttons for setting windshield wiper and washer into expectation position. Push-buttons are arranged in pairs to provide pressing of two push-buttons by one finger. EFFECT: provision of maximum number of operating modes of windshield wiper and washer. 15 cl, 8 dwg
