FIELD: drying waste materials of electric power stations, namely from nuclear power stations. SUBSTANCE: in order to provide high speed of moving material and its reliable drying, first drying operation includes feed of evaporation heat to waste material A due to its contact with heating tubes 4. At second drying operation additional evaporation heat in the form of irradiation heat or with use of gaseous medium L is supplied to waste material A in drying station 3. Waste material may be placed in reservoirs 20 that may be moved. At second drying operation waste material A is solidified so that to become suitable for final concealing. EFFECT: reliable drying of waste materials for short time period at small maintenance cost. 7 cl, 1 dwg
