FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of power engineering, in particular, to the field of accumulation and storage of energy. The method for accumulating and generating energy includes system charging, consisting in producing liquid atmospheric air, storing the liquid air in a cryogenic tank, and generating energy. Generation of energy includes the stages of heating liquid air and extracting cold into a cold accumulation system, heating air in a recuperator by a reverse expanded air flow from the last stage of a turbo expander, expanding air in several stages of the turbo expander while heating between the stages using a heating circuit wherein blasting atmospheric air is supplied for combustion, heated by the heat of the exhaust flue combustion gas, the preheated blasting air is supplied with fuel to a burner device for combustion, releasing cycle energy, the air is heated prior to expansion by the fuel combustion products. The exhaust air from the last expansion stage is directed to a recuperator located between the heat exchanger connected with the cold storage system and the first heater, and then discharged into the atmosphere.
EFFECT: increase in the overall efficiency of cryogenic energy accumulation systems, reduction in the exhaust of flue gases into the atmosphere when using traditional types of fuel.
