METHOD OF IMPREGNATING LONG-CUT FILLER AND PLANT FOR REALIZATION OF THIS METHOD Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: impregnation of fillers. SUBSTANCE: filler is preliminarily evacuated and then impregnated by dipping in hermetic bath with binder fed under pressure from reservoir. Vacuum formed in hermetic bath exceeds degree of evacuation of reservoir containing binder; amount of binder fed to bath and taken by filler is equalized. Before impregnation, filled is heated to temperature exceeding temperature of binder contained in bath. Plant used for realization of the proposed method includes evacuation chamber, hermetic impregnating bath provided with sealing members at its inlet and outlet and connected with binder preparation and delivery reservoir, evacuation system and finished article receivers. Plant is provided with release mechanism. Hermetic impregnating bath, release mechanism and finished article receivers are arranged in evacuation chamber. Release mechanism is provided with heated guide shafts. Sealing members made in form of hollow elastic tubes are fitted at inlet and outlet of hermetic impregnating bath.
