FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention is attributed to equipment for impregnation of elongated web material, predominantly of fabric type, with thermoplastic binding substance in molten condition. Technical result is achieved in the device for web material impregnation. The device contains release unit for web material, bonding substance feed facility, preheater and impregnation facility. Impregnation facility includes top and bottom located horizontally heated plates with wave-shaped projections and mating cavities on facing surfaces. Also device for impregnation contains material transport and take-off mechanism including mandrel mounted on drive-shaft. In addition in projections of top plate, through channels are made, and at the exit from impregnation facility, accumulating chamber for molten boding substance is created.

EFFECT: providing reliable bonding for winds of prepreg being spooled on take-up drum and thereby forming tube-shaped product in single process with web material impregnation.
