FIELD: encasing of exterior walls of existing civic buildings of various functional assignment for warmth-keeping. SUBSTANCE: invention is meant to increase resistance of exterior walls to heat transfer with placement of heat insulation shell composed of stepped components anchored on external surface of exterior wall and filled with heat insulation material followed by dressing with protective-decorative coats. Structure of exterior encasing is multipurpose and permits various heat insulation materials both of plate ( foam polystyrene, mineral wool articles ) and filler ( foam polyurethane ) types to be used. In this case required limits of propagation of fire over wall are provided owing to design of box-shaped components. Upper vertical walls 3 of bearing components 4 of stepped profile are attached to external surface of wall 1 with studs 2. Bearing components 4 of stepped profile are manufactured from fine-mesh wire-fabric reinforced concrete, sheet materials based on cement, cement and lime binding, fire-resistant polymers and other high-strength thermal-inertia materials. Face vertical wall 5 has through openings 8 for placement of material of facing layer and for additional attachment of it to face wall 5 by that. External surface of vertical wall 5 may have ragging intended for same purpose. Bearing components 4 are so arranged over surface of encased wall 1 in horizontal rows that components 4 of upper row are lap-placed above vertical joints 18. Layer 19 of heat insulation material is put into spaces formed between stepped components 4 and wall 1 and between vertical wall and horizontal flanges of stepped components. Layer 20 of heat insulation material is placed over contact between vertical wall 3 of component 4 and external surface of wall 1. Studs 2 are anchored in wall 1 by means of plugs 21 made of plastic or other thermal-inertia material installed in advance in tested bores. Load- bearing frame of encasing of wall 1 of used building is placed over it from cockle 23 above which first row of bearing components 4 is attached to wall. EFFECT: increased resistance of exterior walls to heat transfer. 4 cl, 7 dwg
