FIELD: construction industry, bonding of roll roofing materials while conducting roof covering work. SUBSTANCE: gear to bond roll roofing materials with adhesive layer includes side walls and pressing roller to whose axle ends levers made fast by means of rod to pair of parallel rigid segments also made fast by means of same rod and provided with row of uniaxial holes located over edges of arcs of segments are hinged. Levers are made fast via segments with the use of attachment units to rudder that carries switch of IR radiator fabricated from precision alloys, contact group and thermal radiation screen installed in enclosure anchored on side walls of gear. The latter are hinged to mentioned segments and are equipped with thrust wheels located in front of lower part. Besides them gear is fitted with pair of rollers which axles are fixed in side walls of gear. Their width amounts to value not less than value of width of roll of roofing material. Roofing material is fed to point of heating and roll-down by way of transportation over these rollers. Roller are mounted so that contact heating of roofing material by upper part of heated enclosure of radiator and sticking of material to it is prevented. Thermal radiation screen is manufactured in the form of several sheets of metal or other materials set with spacing and water-tight interconnected. In this case external sheets are made from heat-proof metal and one or several internal sheets are produced from material having high reflection factor of IR radiation. Indicatrixes of radiation of IR radiator and thermal radiation screen match. EFFECT: higher reflectivity of screen towards contact zone of pressing roller and reduced heating of enclosure of radiator. 2 dwg
