CHECK VALVE WITH SECTIONAL FLEXIBLE DIAPHRAGM Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering; handling of liquid and gaseous media. SUBSTANCE: proposed check valve has housing with diaphragm with concentric ports to pass working medium and peripheral flexible membrane. Diaphragm is installed square to axis of pipeline. Peripheral membrane has lobes for closing diaphragm ports at reverse flow of working medium. Central flexible membrane is installed in housing. Central membrane is arranged concentrically relative to peripheral flexible membrane and is provided with lobes to overlap the ports. Diaphragm is made in form of support disk with ports. The latter are arranged in peripheral and central parts of diaphragm. Peripheral is connected with diaphragm with diaphragm over its diameter by means of holder. It overlaps ports of peripheral part of diaphragm by its lobes and opens ports in direction from center. Central membrane is connected in center of diaphragm by rivet and washer. It closes ports in central part of diaphragm by its lobes and opens ports in direction towards center. With ports of diaphragm being opened, lobes of membranes form ring channel for passing the medium.
