DISINFECTING AGENT Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: sanitary. SUBSTANCE: invention proposes disinfecting agent containing alkyldimethylbenzyl-ammonium chloride, alkaline agent, isopropyl alcohol and water taken at the definite ratio of components. Disinfecting agent shows the enhanced bactericidal properties in the presence of isopropyl alcohol in weakly alkaline medium. Also, isopropyl alcohol is added to inhibit the foam formation of agent and the latter shows deodorizing and detergent effects also. Nonionogenic surface-active substance added additionally to the composition of disinfecting agent enhances the foam formation and detergent effect also. Disinfecting agent shows improved stability and prolonged storage (2 years, not less) without change of its bactericidal activity. Disinfecting agent is safety in using, it does not exert irritating effect on skin during long use. Agent does not cause corrosion of plastics, rubber, stainless, brass, concrete, textile and wood. Agent can be used in medicinal, food, textile industries, in veterinary science, agriculture, in preschool, school institutions, in domestic apartments, in aviaterminals, river and railway stations and other places of people crowding.
