FIELD: practical hygiene; applicable in food industry, medicine, veterinary science and processing industry. SUBSTANCE: method may be used for producing preparations for disinfection of surfaces in accommodations, sanitary-engineering equipment, articles for nursing, including patients suffered from mycobacteriosis. The method involves preparation of disinfectant by mixing alkyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride, dialdehyde and monatomic alcohol in aqueous solution of buffer agent with pH of 7.0-7.6 at the following ratio of components, mas.%: alkyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride, 3.0-15.0; dialdehyde, 2.0-12.0; monatomic alcohol, 0.5-10.0; aqueous solution of buffer agent, the balance. For improving washing ability, nonionic surface active substance may be introduced in amount of 1.5-5.0 mas.% in the claimed disinfectant.
