FIELD: control of drain-type closed-cycle mills; non-ferrous and ferrous metallurgy and other industries for processing vanadium-containing slags. SUBSTANCE: method includes measurements of capacity of unit, level of pulp in sump, as well measurement and stabilization at preset magnitudes of rates of water flow to sump and density of finished product; besides that, method includes additional check of power of motors of roasting furnace, power of mill motor and vibration of mill housing, hydraulic cyclone housing and monitoring and regulation system of rates of flow of water to drum-type cooler, mill and hydraulic cyclone and stabilization of density of pulp in supply of hydraulic cyclone. EFFECT: increased productivity of grinding complex by finished class of size; enhanced quality of control. 1 dwg
