FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to construction of multistory buildings of various purpose with spaces of stories free from vertical links and with increased pitch of columns. Metal framework comprises double-tee story columns, double-tee longitudinal span-pieces and lateral beams. Double-tee longitudinal span-pieces are connected to each other along entire length of building over layout axes so that in zones of conjugation they are made as integral. Mounting joints of double-tee longitudinal span-pieces to each other are located in spans of metal framework between low-stressed zones. In this case, planes of walls in double-tee beams of double-tee story columns and planes of walls in double-tee beams of double-tee longitudinal span-pieces coincide and are located in corresponding axes inside double-tee beams of double-tee longitudinal span-pieces in zones of conjugation. Additionally installed in double-tee story columns are vertical load-bearing ribs which are located immediately under and/or above corresponding girths of double-tee beams conjugating with double-tee story columns. Double-tee longitudinal span-pieces in zones of conjugation with columns are made with widened upper and lower girths of double-tee beams. In frame unit of metal framework of multistory building comprising conjugated to each other through upper end-face flange and lower end-face flange, double-tee story columns, longitudinal span-pieces, lateral beams in zone of conjugation have corresponding upper and lower end-face flanges. Story columns are integral and are of double-tee cross-section with widened upper and lower girths. Planes of walls of double-tee beams in story columns and plane of wall of double-tee beams in longitudinal span-pieces coincide and are located in corresponding layout axis of building. Vertical load-bearing ribs are additionally installed inside double-tee longitudinal span-pieces in zone of conjugation with upper and lower end-face flanges of double-tee story columns. Additional vertical load-bearing ribs are located directly under and/or above corresponding side girths. Aforesaid arrangement of components improves reliability of metal framework of multistory building together with reducing labour-intensity and amount of metal needed in construction.
