FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to civil engineering, in particular to a metal framework of multispan buildings and a method of its erection. The metal framework of the building includes metal columns of an I-section with bearing plates, connected to them bearing elements for the installation of ceiling panels on them. The bearing element for the ceiling panels is implemented as a crossbar and implemented in the form of an I beam with differing flanges with the widened lower flange and holes in the wall of the I beam of the crossbar. The connecting element of the column with the crossbar is implemented in the form of a plate with holes under crossbar fasteners. The plate is attached to the internal flange of I-beams of the column by a weld joint at the level of floors. The metal angle beam by its vertical flange is fixed to the top flange of the crossbar by a weld joint, and the horizontal flange of the angle beam is joined with the ceiling panel by means of anchor fastening. The cavity between end faces of the panel and the crossbar is filled with monolithic reinforced concrete. The method of erection of the framework is offered.

EFFECT: decrease of metal consumption and simplification of erection.
