FIELD: analyses of nonbiological materials by physical and chemical methods. SUBSTANCE: method may be used in assessment of depth of distribution of hazardous concentrations of beta-chlorovinyl dichloroarsine at objects of chemical weapon destruction, and in solving problems of ecological monitoring. Sampling tubes are filled with glass balls whose surfaces are coated with polyethylene glycol. Method includes gas chromatographic analysis of acetylene liberated in alkaline hydrolysis of beta-chlorovinyl dichloroarsine.
