FIELD: control equipment. SUBSTANCE: system for controlling vehicle driven by engine provides clipping time derivative of output signal with respect to time derivative of input signal, if time derivative of input signal is greater than given threshold. Method involves generation of difference signal ε designating difference between output signal y and signal x, which enters input of clipping circuit and which time derivative is not clipped with respect to time difference of input signal u. Difference signal ε is filtered in asymptotically robust filter in order to produce signal δ which is returned back and added to input signal u in order to produce signal x. Standard speed clipping unit may be used for production of output signal y from signal x. EFFECT: additional possibility of phase compensation. 10 cl, 8 dwg
