CAR INTERIOR LIGHT Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: automotive industry; car lights. SUBSTANCE: proposed interior light has housing 1, two holders 2, 3, two light sources 4, 5 installed in holders 2, 3 and lens 9, 10 built into diffuser connected with housing 1. Each key 7, 8 of diffuser 6 and contacts 14, 15 of switch change-over 16 are installed in housing 1 for engagement through projection 19 formed on body of each key 7, 8. Elongated three-step housing 1 is provided with plug terminals 11 in smaller part 20 and current-carrying plates 12, 13 for light sources 4.5, contacts 14, 15 of change-over switch 16 and holders 2, 3 with light sources 4, 5 in middle part. Holders 2, 3 are made projecting into larger part 22 of housing 1. Holes 23 for keys 7, 8 and locks 24 of keys 7, 8 are made on elongated sides of larger part 22 of housing 1. Outer middle part 21 of housing 1 is provided with support projection 25 with latch 26 spaced along longitudinal axis of housing 1 and mounted on its shorter sides. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities of interior light with provision, both, of general illumination of car interior and directed light beam in optimum zone of seating of driver and/or passenger. 9 cl, 1 dwg
