ILLUMINATING DEVICE OF TRANSPORT VEHICLE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: illuminating devices of transport vehicles, possibly signaling backup lamp for automobiles. SUBSTANCE: illuminating device includes elongated housing 1, diffuser 2 connected with housing 1 and having different light zones and(or) optical properties; printed circuit board 3; light sources 4 with lamp holders 5 mounted in reflectors 6. Light sources 4 with lamp holders 5 and printed circuit board 3 are arranged on removable base 7 in the form of hollow elongated part placed in housing 1 and having builtup = -shaped cross section members, large and small ones. End side of large member is closed; its other end side is joined with small member that is stepwise narrowed at both sides. Small member is inclined relative to large member; its end portion is provided with elongated cross partition and beads forming seat. In housing 1 there is mounting place 16 for base 7, the last is placed in housing 1 in such a way that small member is arranged inside housing 1 and large member is placed on supporting plates of housing 1 and it is fixed to it by means of pawl 18 arranged on housing 1 at side of closed end of large member of base 7.
