FIELD: sanitary engineering appliances. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to portable toilets containing own source of power needed for operation of water flushing system. Flush tank unit is powered from electric batteries and has pump and electric motor which are installed on section of toilet seat. Removable set of batteries has terminals which are wired to electric motor. Set of batteries is provided with actuator which is protected from uncontrolled switching-on by location inside recess. Actuator is used for closing of electric circuit and operation of pump to release water for flushing down to toilet pan. Shut-off valve is installed in route of released water flow. Valve is opened in result of pumping flushing water and is held in open position at minimal pressure in line, thus prolonging service life of set of batteries. Aforesaid embodiment of flush tank unit is of simplified design allowing for easy replacement of batteries in field conditions and require no manual opening of cover which is connected with flushing water release device.
