FIELD: apiculture. SUBSTANCE: growth and development of bee family are stimulated in early spring period by giving additional feeding in the form of candy with synthetic pheromone: 1:1:1 v/v mixture of 1% solution of 9-oxo-2E-decenoic acid, 0.01% solution of phenylacetic acid methyl ester, and 0.01% solution of phenylpropionic acid in 96% ethanol in amount 0.1-0.2 ml per 500 g of candy for one bee family. Feeding is given twice: the first feeding in the end of February to early in the March and the second one after bee family is put out from winter abode. EFFECT: enhanced growth and development. 2 tbl
