SUBSTANCE: method involves limiting egg laying of bee queen; late in autumn, providing additional supplying of feed and positioning wooden racks of 10x10 mm section onto frame in position perpendicular to bars; covering the entire nest with polyethylene film and putting warming material thereon; in first decade of January, putting sugar-honey dough under film on racks.
EFFECT: improved bee family wintering conditions and increased productivity.
