SUBSTANCE: hot water supply system of multistory building includes supply and return risers with apartment arrangement of pipes in which temperature compensators are installed on each story of building and fixed between immobile supports. Temperature compensators are installed on each story of building above apartment arrangement of pipes and are made of pipes bent in the form of half-waves whose number N is found from relation , where K is coefficient determined by material of pipes ( K=20 for polypropylene, K=30 for polyethylene, K=10 for multilayer pipes made of polyethylene, aluminum and polyethylene ); d is diameter of pipe, mm; ΔL is change of pipe length caused by variation of temperature, mm.
